 on committee for approval in February next year.\r\nA conservation are
 a is an area of special architectural or historic interest, the charac
 ter or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance. Thi
 s means that when a conservation area is designated, the Council has r
 ecognised that the area has a special character and identity which is 
 worth protecting. This is on top of the protection our estate has by i
 ts listing. The proposal does not include the Welsh Church or other bu
 ildings between the Barbican and Golden Lane which you may like to dis
