DESCRIPTION:The third exhibition as part of EXHIBIT's Super Estate Pro
 jects is this series of photographs by British artist, Kathryn Faulkne
 r. During her residency at the gallery, Faulkner visited residents of 
 the Golden Lane Estate (the focus of the gallery), observing how they 
 live with books and looking at the \"intimate scale of the living spac
 es\". Through conversations with her subjects about individual experie
 nces, the aim is to \"capture moments that represent personal relation
 ships with reading and with the book as object.\"\n\nThe images (which
  look at the impusle to collect books) are shot on medium format film 
 and traditionally hand printed full frame, a methodology in keeping wi
 th Modernism’s ‘truth to materials’ ethos. Some of the most beau
 tiful pictures are a series of colour pinhole photographs of residents
  reading in their favorite spot, projected in the enclosed space downs
