 lden Oldies II by Patricia Niven\n\nGolden Oldies II is a continuation
  of a project initiated by EXHIBIT and Patricia Niven in 2009, celebra
 ting long-term residents of the Golden Lane Estate in Central London.\
 n\nThe first stage of the project, Golden Oldies, documented nine resi
 dents in a series of intimate and affecting images. Golden Oldies II d
 ocuments a further five long-term Estate residents, producing a new se
 ries of compelling portraits.\n\nLiving on the Estate has given Niven 
 a rewarding relationship with the older neighbours. She explains that 
 she is drawn to the history and story of the individual, and to the op
 enness of the older people living on the Estate. It was this enthusias
 m from the local community to the 2009 exhibition that helped bring fo
 rward more willing participants to make this second stage possible.\n\
