 erformers up-close for free, and liven up your lunchbreak?\r\nCome alo
 ng to one of our informal, 45-minute concerts at LSO St Luke’s, with
  performances by musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra and Guil
 dhall School.\r\nThis term, as we mark 100 years of female suffrage in
  the UK, we celebrate some of the pioneering women in classical music 
 over the last century – from figures like Ethel Smyth, who campaigne
 d for the vote, equal rights and recognition a hundred years ago, to J
 udith Weir, one of the leading composers of today.\r\nIn this concert,
  talented Guildhall School singers and pianists close the series wit
 h a journey through songs by female composers. Our presenter Rachel Le
 ach talks about the works and the instruments, and there are opportuni
 ties to ask questions of Rachel and the musicians.\r\nEach concert beg
 ins at 12.30pm and lasts for 45 minutes. The Café is open for light r
 efreshments before the concert from 11.30am and after the concert unti
 l 2pm.\r\nTo avoid disappointment please arrive in good time to get a 
 seat, as these concerts are popular!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTickets: free entr
