Bevis Marks: Britain's Most Significant Synagogue - Public Consultation

Bevis Marks Synagogue has been awarded a first stage grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to tell the story of the Synagogue and the Sephardi community that have worshipped there for over 300 years. Situated in the heart of the City of London and built in 1701 with a Wren-style interior, Bevis Marks is the oldest synagogue still in use in the UK. This project will open up the synagogue, create a new exhibition, resources and programme of events for adults, families and schools.

The team working on the project are seeking to raise awareness of the project and obtain feedback from Golden Lane Estate residents. A short questionnaire can be found at this link Bevis Marks Public Consultation It will close on 31st August. Thank you in anticipation of your support. Dr. Alix Slater (Activity Planner)
