Event Description

We are opening Bunhill Fields behind the railings for a morning of exploration and discovery at this Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.

Free Guided walks:

10.30 – Trees with Jake Tibbetts, City Gardens manager and tree expert. Book via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bunhill-fields-tree-walk-tickets-1266916183409

11.15 and 12 noon – Biodiversity and garden history with qualified garden guides. Book via eventbrite - scan the attached QR code on the poster or click the link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bunhill-fields-behind-the-railings-tickets-1263755830709

Or just turn up for a bug hunt for children.

Meet the volunteers and learn about the Rewilding Project.

All activities are free. Children and families welcome.

The Rewild project is a year long project to enhance the habitat for pollinators and for ground nesting bees. Kathrin knows all about it. We have funding from the Mayor’s rewild Fund - £37k – which comes to an end this March.

Come to the Open morning and hopefully we will have interpretation boards in place and you can learn more about it.
