From the eulogy given by Doris' youngest son, Ian:
"On the Estate, she seems to know everybody! She was the longest living continuous resident of the City of London and was awarded Freeman of the City. Also, she starred in a Stephen Fry documentary on the Square Mile. I am meeting with the corporation to discuss a memorial to celebrate her life on the Estate and a life mostly lived in the City of London."
