The City of London Guides are delighted to support Silver Sunday - a national day for older people. Join us for a free 1 hour guided walk.
Starting at 10am, walks depart every 30 minutes until 3pm.
Walk with us through centuries of history and discover some of the key Visions, Values and Victories that have shaped today’s City of London.
We start in the shadow of Wren's masterpiece, St Paul’s Cathedral. During the tour we’ll stop to explore memorials and stories of everyday heroes, martyrs and rebels. You’ll also find out how a 12th Century courtier's vision led to London's oldest hospital beside an execution site. We finish beneath the golden scales of Justice.
Please note: This 1 hour walking tour is wheelchair accessible, and includes approximately 1 km of walking in-between stops. Seating is available at some of the stops.
Places are free but limited an must be booked in advance: eventbrite.co.uk/e/silver-sunday-visions-values-and-victories-in-the-city-of-london-tickets-169624863533
