Event Description
Thomas More House in the Barbican is a reminder of the famous son of the City. Buried in 'Utopia' are blueprints for urban living. It had just been published five hundred years ago when More found himself quelling riots on the doorstep of today's Barbican. Lester Hillman will explore the local dramas, the colourful personalities and modern day legacies close to hand.
Our speaker is an award winning planner and he has been engaged in commerations of 'Utopia' and other recent celebrations of city heritage.
