Apollo Contractors Compound adjacent Basterfield House: Prohibited Out of Hours Working

The Apollo Contractors are arriving on site and starting operations at about 7.20.am

I was under the impression they were not to 'start work' until 8.00am

Am I correct?

I have been woken up at approximately 7.20 am every day this week. Other residents in Basterfield have also been awakened

Our bedrooms are some 4- 5 metres from the site entrance and storage containers

I went down to the site this morning at about 7.20.pm and spoke to the Supervisor - Kane

Approx 20-25 operatives were on site. noisy metal site gates were being opened, The metal containers were being opened and materials (tools wcs and basins and boards etc were bieng removed) some being trundled about on trollies

The Supervisor said these were works necessary and 'preparatory' to commencing work at 8.00am

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

I (and other residents) are awoken at 7.20 by upwards of 25 workman arriving on site opening creaky metal gates, talking, dropping/moving toolbags materials etc etc

That, for us this represents 'commencement of works'

'Work's (of any sort is prohibited before 8.0am)
