There has been a judicial review challenging the low emissions zone in the Beech Street tunnel. The City is keen to make it permanent and wants to get views on whether this should happen. In the meantime the experiment will end on 18th September.

The Barbican Association has launched a petition calling for a new and improved Zero Emission Zone around the Barbican. This could include the Golden Lane Estate area and, given the high levels of pollution in our environment, I believe is something that we should be demanding.
