We have received this message from City of London, and would like to share with the local residents.
Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004
City of London Local Development Framework
Core Strategy Development Plan Document: Publication
The City of London Corporation is drawing up a new plan called the Local Development Framework (LDF). The most important part of this plan is the Core Strategy, which will set out the spatial vision for the City up to 2026.
We have consulted the public throughout the preparation of the Core Strategy, most recently in November/December 2009 when we asked for your views on a draft of the Strategy. With the benefit of your comments, we have now finalised the Core Strategy and it is being published for a last stage of consultation.
This is an opportunity to make representations on the soundness of the Core Strategy in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 (as amended).
The Core Strategy, together with any representations received, will be submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government, who will appoint a planning inspector to carry out a public examination of the document.
All the documents pertaining to the Core Strategy, as well as information on how to make representations, are available on the City of London website at www.cityoflondon.gov.ukldf as well as at the City of London Planning and Transportation Department and City libraries. If you would like copies of any of the documents, these can be provided in printed form or on CD.
Responses can be submitted via the City of London online consultation system or using the representations form, via email or to the address below.
The consultation period runs from 13 September 2010 to 25 October 2010. All representations must be received by 5.00pm on the 25th October 2010. Please note that all responses to this consultation will be made available on the City of London website.
