We are writing to give you notice of the forthcoming COLPAI Project Planning Condition Public Consultation Webinar, which is due to take place on Thursday 27 August 2020 at 6.00pm.
 
This online webinar will be an opportunity for the project team to present the feedback and next steps following our Planning Conditions consultation held in February 2020.
 
We have been keen to ensure that everyone in the local community has the opportunity to engage in our consultation events. As a consequence of COVID-19, we have been unable to hold physical events, and had hoped that this would only be for a short period and ‘normal’ meetings would be allowed to resume. However, it is now clear that a return to physical meetings may be months away and that we need to adapt to the new situation.
 
The City of London Corporation has been keen to ensure that it was possible to begin running online events without excluding members of the local community, either through online access requirements or technical knowhow. The COLPAI Project Team is now confident these meetings can be run successfully ensuring all members of the community are able to participate with the necessary infrastructure and support now in place across the City of London.
 
We will be hosting the online webinar on Thursday 27 August 2020 at 6.00pm – 7.00pm with members of the project team on-hand to discuss the Planning Conditions in relation to the school building, residential building and site wide conditions. There will be an opportunity for a Q&A during the session, if you are interested in submitting questions in advance or would like to express your interest in coming on the panel to ask your question live, please do get in touch with us. The webinar will be recorded and available to view on our project website after the session.

In September 2020, we will also be restarting our regular community meetings in regard to works on-site. These meetings will be taking place online while restrictions are still in place. We are keen to receive any feedback from the community in regard to how the online meetings are run and if the approach taken is suitable for all residents. We will be back in touch with the date for the online community meeting in due course.
