COLPAI Project Weekly Works Update – W/C Monday 4 May 2020

Dear Neighbour

Please see below activities relating to the COLPAI Project, which are due to take place from Monday 4 May 2020.
 
Monday 4 May – Thursday 7 May
 
ISG works will include:
  • Construction of reinforced concrete superstructure to new school building
  • Construction of further welfare on the ground floor of the school
  • Construction of slab to the new school hall
  • Excavation to the residential block
  • Continuation of ground works and drainage. 
Works are not scheduled to take place on Friday 8 May (Bank Holiday), Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May.
 
Deliveries 
 
Deliveries taking place throughout the week include:
  • Removal of excavated spoil from the site
  • Structural Steel Framing System (SFS) and boards to the site
  • Concrete to the site
  • 6F2 granular fill to the site, which is a mix of crushed concrete, brick and mortar.
 
ISG On-Site Security
  • Security guard on-site full time 7am – 6.30am
  • CCTV security cameras are now monitoring the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The City of London Corporation (City Corporation) Works - CCTV 
 
The City Corporation has installed one 24/7 CCTV camera on-site to monitor the works. The works on-site were completed on Thursday 30 April. The system is only active within the site boundaries and cannot be directed beyond the boundary lines. Due to COVID-19, the City Corporation is keen to monitor the site closely and ensure operations are in compliance with social distancing requirements.
 
Working Hours
Monday to Friday – 8am to 6pm
Saturday – 9am to 2pm
 
Consented Reduced Impact Hours
 
During reduced impact hours, works will still take place on-site. However, works will not involve percussive machinery or other similar construction involving heavy machinery.
 
Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm
 
Noise, dust and vibration monitoring is in place.
