Dear Neighbour
Please see below activities relating to the COLPAI Project, which are due to take place from Monday 6 July 2020.
On Monday 6 July 2020, ISG will be removing the crane crawler from site. As the crane is a wide-load, it is subject to a movement order that means it is restricted to travel at certain times. For this reason, the crane crawler will be removed at 8pm. An ISG Construction Manager and traffic marshal will be overseeing the removal and we will ensure that the impact of these works is kept to a minimum.
Monday 6 July – Friday 10 July ISG works will include:
- Construction of reinforced concrete superstructure to new school building
- Construction of Structural Steel Framing System (SFS) for the external walls
- Continuation of grounds works and drainage
- Reduced basement dig to residential block
- External scaffold to the school building
- Commencement of brick cladding
- Construction of sewer headings.
Works are not scheduled to take place on Saturday 4 July 2020. However, there will be an on-site presence with security set-up in the offices this evening (Friday 3 July 2020) and over the weekend. This measure will be in place until ISG has revised its call out arrangements in relation to on-site alarms. ISG will be blocking the windows to the offices to ensure that residents are not disturbed.
Deliveries Deliveries taking place throughout the week include:
- Removal of crane crawler from site on Monday 6 July, as noted above
- Removal of excavated spoil from the site
- Delivery of concrete to the site
- Delivery of bricks and blocks to the site.
ISG On-Site Security
- Security guard on-site full time 7am – 6.30am
- CCTV security cameras are now monitoring the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The City of London Corporation also has CCTV monitoring of the site in place.
Working Hours Monday to Friday – 8am to 6pm
Saturday – 9am to 2pm
Consented Reduced Impact Hours During reduced impact hours, works will still take place on-site. However, works will not involve percussive machinery or other similar construction involving heavy machinery.
Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm
Noise, dust and vibration monitoring is in place. Please visit our project website www.colpai-project.co.uk/monitoring-data to view the monthly monitoring data results. Moving forward, we will upload the data on a monthly basis. The monitoring data will also be put up onto the site noticeboard. For site emergencies, please contact:
