COLPAI Project Weekly Works Update – Works commencing Tuesday 14 April 2020

Dear Neighbour
 
Please see below activities relating to the COLPAI Project, which are due to take place from Tuesday 14 April 2020.

 

Tuesday 14 April – Friday 17 April 

Works will include:
  • Preparation of the ground to receive additional welfare units positioned behind the Tower Crane between the boundary wall to London School of Fashion
  • Works to the area of the School Hall  
  • Clearing area with use of the Tower Crane
  • Levelling of the ground
  • Construction of foundation slab
  • Installation of drainage
  • Air quality monitoring
  • Environmental monitoring.
Works are not scheduled to take place on Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April.
 
Deliveries
  • Concrete to the site
  • 6F2 granular fill to the site, which is a mix of crushed concrete, brick and mortar.
On-site security
  • Security guard now on-site full time 07:00 – 18:30.
  • CCTV security cameras are now monitoring the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
Non-ISG Works
  • Road sweeper in place to clean Golden Lane following the muck-away lorries leaving the site.
 
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 18:00
Saturday - 9:00 to 14:00
 
Consented Reduced Impact Hours
During reduced impact hours, works will still take place on-site. However, works will not involve percussive machinery or other similar construction involving heavy machinery.
 
Monday to Friday 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00
 
Noise, dust and vibration monitoring is in place.
