Community Youth Services for local Children and Young People

Dear All,

Hope all is well?  My name is Ash Rahman, and I am the CEO of a local community, youth and sports community interest company (CIC) called Pro Touch SA. We are based in Camden, but delivery various services across 8 different London Boroughs, and now established for over 12 years having rebranded from Pro Touch Soccer Academy last year in March.

We are keen to apply for a small pot of funding to City of London, to try and deliver a project targeting the Golden Lane Estate and possibly operation from the Community Centre as well as maybe also using the Sports Centre nearby.

I am keen to learn if there are any current services FREE or Paid available to local families with children and young people on the GLE?

Do you know any children and young people would be interested in community youth and or sports activities?.

The multi-sport and youth activities will available to both boys and girls aged between seven and 19 with the aim of engaging more youngsters with sport and youth (includes arts as well), whilst also building on life skills helping to improve confidence, self-esteem and ambition.

The sessions will include a number of different activities, including fencing, fitness, football, and will also involve an educational training and workshops.

The fun, engaging and challenging sessions can be very rewarding for the youngsters, who may also be able to enter local competitions later in 2019 with progression and development where possible with the Pro Touch or local partnering organisations.

There will also opportunities to volunteer or help running the multi-sport and youth activities, and, in the process, the volunteers could gain sports and youth work awards and qualifications.

Thank you for you time and feedback.
