Has anyone has followed this two-part series on BBC4 by Jonathan Meades, Bunkers, Brutalism and Bloodymindedness: Concrete Poetry? (I admit I found this latest series his most obfuscate and polemic yet.)

Did anyone spot the briefest glimpse of our Golden Lane Estate?  It's about 47 minutes into part two.  (You can watch it using this link: Concrete Poetry - GLE.)  Apparently we rode around in bowler hats in black and white back in those days. ;-)

Great shots of fabulous modernist architecture, including the Le Corbusier inspired flats at Roehampton which must have fantastic views over Richmond Park (*jealous*)

I can see quite a bit of current neglect in the peeling paint in my block! ;-)

I haven't watched the other series yet (The Brits who Built the Modern World) I'm saving it until I can watch all three.  I missed the Eileen Grey programme on R3 but will catch it in iPlayer hopefully.

Yes we have been watching. There is quite a bit of architecture on TV. Loved the comments about Brutalism re public housing. Saying how folk loved their new homes before they were purposely neglected.
We can see the signs of past neglect on GLE
