Absolutely sick and tired of Fann Street now becoming much more noisy.

The engineers working on cross rail, who park up after midnight in Fann Street is getting beyond a joke.  Music blaring, shouting, keeping engines running, literally not giving a fig about noise, and Fann St being a residential street.  I’m constantly having to ask to keep the noise down, and be considerate of others!!

surely something can be done about this.  Broken sleep, and hanging over my Balcony like a fishwife isn’t ideal.  Could the CoL do something about this, rather than me having to??

I agree Tracy. Just to also make the point that I brought the use of traffic on Fann Street and subsequently the noise from it up at the Guildhall residents meeting a few months ago and was greeted with the response from their highways representatives that they “are aware that there is an issue but that basically its a lot better than it used to be when Fann Street was a through road”. So basically what are you moaning about because once upon a time it was much worse than it is now and we should just accept that!! I personally think Fann Street should be used for pedestrians and cyclists only. Think it is time to write a strong email to environmental and highways.
