We are a group of four students studying MSc City Design and Social Sciences at the LSE.

We are currently working on a research project on the Barbican and its surrounding area.
Our focus are the residents in the area north of the Barbican and how they relate to their neighbourhood.

After having analysed ourselves as outsiders, through basically spending time there and observing, and having researched how the area is referred to in formal planning documents, we would now like to know how people who actually use it, the residents, see it.
 
In this regard, we are looking for residents of any age- and other group who are willing to spend about 45 min with us for an informal interview.
It is basically about telling us how they feel about living in the area, what their landmarks, favourite and least favourite places are etc., by replying to a few quite funny questions and "drawing exercises". There are no right or wrong answers in any of this, we're just very keen to hear from the people who know the area best.

Ideally we would like to make the interviews before Christmas or in January.
