Because of a Freeview update today we all need to do a retune otherwise some channels will not work. I have done a retune but have now lost channels, mainly HD channels after Channel 5 HD and some channels in the 80s & 90s channel numbers. Has anyone else had the same problem?
I did ring them and they said because we have a shared aerial, it may need something doing to it, but I am sure that is not correct as all the other channels are working fine.

My channels are all back now. If anyone is still missing any then just retune again.
Mine came back but then we had a problem with our communal aerial and I didn't have any channels for almost a week, other than what I could pick up on my indoor one. Now the aerial is working I too have lost 106 as well as all the other HD channels above that, I only have 101-105. I have also lost various channels in the 80s and 90s.
They do say to unplug the aerial, retune to clear it, then plug it back in and do a first time installation, however after trying that a couple of times still nothing.
I emailed Freeview a couple of days ago but have not had any reply. It may be worth contacting our TV people to see what they say.
I am still missing channels after retuning almost every day. I have just rang Freeview and they suggested our aerial needs upgrading to a wider band one.
I then called MDTV and they said our aerials are old but it may just be the filters need altering. They are coming out to me on Tuesday to check our aerial and will also contact the estate office to see if anyone else has reported the same problem.
If anyone else is missing channels please either call the estate office or MDTV on 0845 230 0028 and let them know. The more people they know it is affecting then maybe the quicker it will be resolved. Please don't just sit back hoping someone else is sorting it out.
The engineer came today and went on to our roof and removed the filter. I then retuned and all my missing channels are back. Because some of the channels had moved to a new frequency, the filter was blocking those frequencies. He said most blocks should be back to normal now so it is best to retune and check. If it is still not working then give them a call.
For anyone in GAH where the main aerial is, they can not do that block for a week or so as there are repairs being done to the roof, so they wont have access until the work has finished.
The work the engineer did yesterday has fixed my issue as well. Thanks Richard!
