I spoke to someone from the City of London a month or so ago about our leaseholder service bills for the Great Arthur curtain walling project. I was told that charges related to this project were not currently being taken by the City as there had been a successful challenge to the ability of the landlord to apply them to leaseholders. I think this was at the first tier tribunal but I can't seem to find anything when searching https://decisions.lease-advice.org/.
The person at the CoL said it was being appealed and so we still don't know whether the incredible total cost of something like £90k will have to be paid by leaseholders. Does anyone have any more info on this? I'm surprised the local press haven't picked up on it as I would have thought it fairly news-worthy that the CoL had been defeated at a lease tribunal!
