True story.

I go down to the basement sometimes to reach the recycling and garbage bins. As you do.
On more than one occasion, I have heard the elevator voice (I'm calling her the "Lift Lady") do a quick little giggle after she announces "Basement".
It's only very slight, and only happens on the odd occasion, but it is noticeable to a trained ear.
Is the Lift Lady laughing at me?
Why the basement? She doesn't laugh at any other floor.
Is there something funny down there?

Not sure if it's the fumes from the garbage bags that are messing with my head, or if I'm just imagining it, but I'm sure that someone else out there has experienced this before.

And how about all those times you use the lift to reach ground and suddenly it decides to take you on little journey all the way up to 15th and the back down to the basement.
Always happens when you're in a rush, doesn't it?
Coincidence or perhaps something more sinister?

V.
