By now, you must really think we are living in the house that jack built. We solved the problem of back flowing waste water (someone was flushing rags and nappies etc.)

The next question, is anyone having intermittent water supply in GAH? In the last week at all sorts of hours our water is cut to the bathroom, heating and cold water. Oddly our kitchen sink is working fine though. When the water comes back though it is preceded by the normal noises of water flowing again.

Am I missing something or has an avid DIY enthusiast accidentally taken control of our water supply?

Thanks again.

Hi James

We also live in Great Arthur House (on the top floor), and we are having the same problem. May I ask that anyone who is also suffering should report this to the Estate Office - they need to know exactly how many people are affected and are doing their best to rectify the matter with the assistance of outside agencies.

Any problems like this (whether you are an owner, long lessee or tenant) should be reported to the Estate Office immediately.

Perhaps this is the "drought" that we were expecting!

Have you reported it? I'll pop down to the office a bit later.
