The Blacksmith and The Toffeemaker pub on St John Street, are collecting donations for Isington Foodbank throughout December so if you'd like to donate anything please drop it off with the bar staff!

Here's a note from the warehouse manager about what they currently need -

"At present, we have a desperate shortage of tinned rice pudding! We barely have enough for the next session. Long life milk, chocolate bars and rice are also relatively low. And we would welcome basic toiletries - shower gel/soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving foam and disposable razors. You will readily understand, if you can't feed your children you don't buy shower gel. But a lot of our clients are working, and everyone has to leave the house - how can you go out to work unshaven, or send your children to school smelly? So toiletries are always in demand - maybe that would be an easy thing for your clients to bring? “
