I would just like to say that I was mightily impressed by the turnout eventhough it was chucking it down. Well done everyone!!! i also, agree that this should not be a once yearly event but could maybe be themed to coincide with the time of year. For example, a christmas fair/Winter solstice fair or similar.

Yes we were planning a Christmas Market day last year but ran out of time to properly plan and resolved practical issue. Let's think about this again!
Hello Alan, I have looked into the food preparation issues and it would seem that as long as health and safety issues are properly adhered to there should not be a problem with residents selling home made food. Personally, I like the idea of pasties/quiches/breads and hot soup for the winter market day...or maybe I am just feeling peckish! I have located some guidelines on the food preparation issues and will be entering a link on this site when I get the opportunity.
