Is anyone else being driven mad by these new alarms going off for no reason, repeatedly? Can we have the offending sensors removed? It’s no way to live. We already have appalling building noise on the Taylor Wimpey site, concrete repairs and the odd road drilling that starts as a quiet period begins.

Noon and it starts again for the entire lunch period.

Back to fire, smoke, C02 etc alarms that are painfully piercing.  Take them away!

Well you wouldn’t be saying that if the Alarm saved lives...however inconvenient

There’s no possibly about it. A young lady who lived in Bowater House, actually had Carbon Monoxide leaking from her Boiler. Before the alarms were installed, she had the foresight to buy one..it potentially saved her life. Unfortunately the CoL are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. Yes there is an abundance of works being carried out on and around the Estate, but it’s for the betterment of the Residents in the long run. For want of sounding crass, we will get plenty of peace and quiet in the cemetery, until then, however noisy at times, make the most of life!
