National Family Week will be held this year during the first week of June. In order to enter into the spirit of the event, the City of London Police together with our partners the City of London Corporation have organised a ‘Picnic with the Police’ on Friday 4th June, 2010.

This event is aimed at the residential community and their families. There will be free activities for everyone, including short mat bowls, boxing, face painting, free food & drink and an appearance from our special ‘Singing Policeman’.
It’s a fun event aimed at bringing the community together and providing an opportunity to meet the local ward policing team at the same time.

Just turn up at the Golden Lane Estate, Basterfield Lawn between 1100 and 1400 hours.

If you want to get involved in the planning and organisation of this event, then please contact (020) 7601 2452 or email community@cityoflondon.police.uk

We have ordered sunny weather - so fingers crossed - we look forward to meeting you on the day
