I am posting this on behalf of the GLERA Committee who want to share this information with all residents to make you aware as an individual of proposed changes to the boundaries for voting our MPs in national government, and to provide you with the contact details to submit your own comments if you should wish to do so.  Note that comments are due by 5th Dec 2011.

The current national government electoral boundary pairs the City Of London with Westminster so that we have one MP serving residents of both boroughs.  As part of the current round of Boundary Commission Review there is a proposal that the City should be paired with Islington South instead of Westminster. 

Note that this proposal is for representation at national government level only.  It will not change the fact that we sit within the City Of London as our local government.
