"Philippe, hat's good, but they are meant to send them at the end of each month automatically.  Tomorrow is the last day of May so I expect mine then!  I hope."

Electric meter reading

Would anyone know what is going on with the meter readings on the estate? a form was circulated so the staff would read the meters every month, but nothing seems to have happened. Would anyone have a key to the meter cupboard so I could take a reading? Thanks.See More

Hi everyone, I came across this page that takes some fresh perspectives to retrofitting our homes. Good inspiration for several activities we do around the estate I'd say!

Really interesting and very complex. I remember listening to a presentation by the different people involved in the refurbishment of GLE which started with windows and is now retrofitting insulation and possibly shading to meet the challenges of the Climate Crisis. I will admit to feeling horrified when it turned out we would need hot water immersion tanks again. Storage space is such a challenge once  space is vacated it is quickly reused for something else.

Our allotment is a nice community space but centred on individual growing space when we could work together to grow large amounts of food to share .

Lots to think about , thanks for posting
