Emotional and well put together film!!!
A wonderful example of London's culturaly diverse community, has Trevor Philips seen it?
Whats that old lady doing out running in the rain? getting warm before entering her flat on GLE?
I don't think she would be so reckless if she knew about the Liverpool Care Pathway and certainly none of them would be smiling.
Nathan I hope the Trevor Philips comment was *s*! I like what you did there with the temperature comment. DIY secondary glazing does not a cosy flat make. :-D
Re LCP, as with any medical protocol I guess it's down to the proper application. If I was dying and in great pain I think I'd want proper palliative care, even if that meant going a few days early, rather than be left to die alone in an uncaring ward (and sadly we've heard a lot about these recently). Who knows what the right answer is. One-way ticket to Geneva?
As you say, best solution is not to get sick!
;-P

I like your ideas re warmth and sound - simple ways are often the best! I'm giving my flat a thorough overhall (slowly) and I'm mulling over curtain ideas. I'll probably get blackout lining next time which is thicker and possibly thermal interlining if I can. That'll do when the curtains are closed, not sure yet about when I need to let the sunlight in! This time of year it's lovely when the sun is shining early in the day, as it's so low it shines right through the main room into the hallway (when it's not hiding behind the Shard/Barbi YMCA). It makes me feel a bit warmer even if it isn't actually warmer! Can't do secondary glazing in my flat, so I guess it's waiting for the Corp to do something - probably in the next millenium. :-)

Lovely little film.
A agree re LCP, but it depends how it's done. I would be happy to have an ' end of life' plan which is what it's about really. No distraught family forcing doctors to do resuscitation on me etc.
I think secondary glazing is for sound and double/treble glazing for thermal insulation
I have been investigating the value of layered clothing and ear plugs :-)
