A man tried to break into my flat last night around 2am. I live in crescent house, second floor. Nothing bad happened in the end, I called the police.Did something similar happen to anyone last night? He was a white male, average build, wearing dark clothes and a backpack, I saw him through the peephole.Furthermore, is there a WhatsApp group for the Golden lane estate where such things can be communicated more synchronously?See More

"Thanks Jade.  I know to some people it was important to keep the originals.  When I moved into my flat many years ago everything was original.  Unfortunately, most were in such poor condition it had to be replaced and updated. "

"Okay.  I see it now.  As I earlier said, that is not original.  The cupboard was added by a resident later on.  Maybe, you can just purchase a cupboard that looks similar as no original ones exist. "
