I live in the Barbican and first came to the area when I worked for Whitbread and helped evolve the comprehensive redevelopment of The Brewery in Chiswell Street bringing the Supermarket - originally Safeway Food Stores now Waitrose; the Pharmacy; the restaurant; YMCA other shops with flats above which Whitbread provided to Islington Council.
