Event Description

Free talk in Barbican Library, 12.30 - 1.30 on Tuesday 11th July 2023.

Hear stories of Londoners of African, Caribbean, Asian and Indigenous heritage who lived and worked in the city between 1560 and 1860. We will explore a range of experiences which speak of love, enterprise, wealth and family life; discrimination, hardship, resilience and resistance. This talk is drawn from material presented in the Unforgotten Lives exhibition at London Metropolitan Archives.

Register for the event in the library or here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/unforgotten-lives-tickets-637935471167?aff=oddtdtcreator
