Event Description

A workshop which looks at what happens at the taking stage of photography.  This evening is for improving photographers. 

The workshop will cover:

1. Before the shutter is pressed - what is it that YOU wish to say about THIS subject? Creative choices, composition.

2. Camera choice - presented by a photographer, not a salesman! Film/digital, chip size/pixel count, viewfinder and screens in use, camera type - compact/bridge/DSLR.

3. The basic controls on any camera - shutter/aperture/focus.

4. Technical - digital camera settings and menus -  program, manual, raw files and differentiating what's really useful from the sales features.

5. Get your pictures off the cards - the benefits of the digital darkroom.
So If you have the lates DSLR or a compact digital we can answer you questions.
