Event Description
Call for volunteers to help sow wildflower seeds and plant up herbs around a selection of the trees on the Estate. This Sunday from 12.00 noon (2nd June). Meet at the gate of the allotments by the old nursery. Bring tools if possible.
The planting of the Tree Pits is part of the Estate's contribution to City of London's bid for London in Bloom competition.
A small section of Basterfield Lawn is also being left to grow over the summer, to improve the habitat for birds, bees and insects too.
