Prior Weston launched a cook book called ‘Golden Lane Gets Cooking’, published by the PTA, featuring original and exciting recipes submitted by the pupils. “This is a project we are very proud of” says Vice Chair Debby Lee – “What makes this book very special is that it is an example of how a local community can come together, giving their time, using individual skills and professional abilities to empower the children to get involved in creating something lasting and they can be proud of. Our school has fantastic parental support and involvement and the result of this finished volume of fantastic artwork and recipes truly reflects a high end glossy production worthy of a professional publication”.

The cover has been designed by leading artist Gavin Turk, there is a limited edition first run of only 1,000. Local bookstores will be stocking the book and local celeb chef Sam Clarke of award winning restaurant MORO hosted the official launch at Golden Lane.
