Event Description

Join Ben Okri as he reads from his work and discusses madness and reason, freedom and living with Lamis Bayar.

 

Ben Okri is a poet, novelist, and playwright whose works have been translated into 26 languages and whose novel The Famished Road won the Booker Prize in 1991. His latest works are the novel The Freedom Artist and a collection of short stories, ‘A prayer for the Living’.

 

Lamis Bayar is the founder of Dragon Café in the City which welcomes anyone feeling the pressures of work or life in and around the City of London.
