Truth is often stranger than fiction. Dr Richard Pearson’s illustrated talk will look at various novels published in the UK from 1900 to the present and provide explanations of technical terms including tradecraft, contractors, honey traps, sleeper, double and triple agents… and moles.
Dr Richard Pearson was a Consultant physician (Clinical Pharmacology) at St Bartholomew's Hospital and also worked as a contractor for an American think tank in various theatres. He completed an MA in Security and Intelligence Studies at the University of Buckingham in 2016
