25 City of London Wards - 19 Wards will have Council Elections - 6 Wards will remain UNCONTESTED, having no Elections!!!!

The 6 uncontested Wards are:

Aldersgate

Aldgate

Bassishaw

Bishopsgate

Broadstreet

Tower

Well at least 6 Wards have happily entrenched colluding Councillors...happy days...

Maybe the residents in these wards have just given up...

The City of London Corporation needs to follow the advice of The Local Government Select Committee said "councillors had a right to be paid, it increases wider participation", for the City it will reduce the average age of councillors, which at present is over 60.

If any City of Councillor is against this, they should make this known before standing for office, and sign over any payments they are entitled to, to the local Community Centre, guaranteed non will.
