only thing is the text is under the image so it is not readable.

No the text under the image is not meant to be readable as it says the same as the text now in the image. But the site does not allow you to delete it completely. This is one of the limitations of using a standard ning site.

Ahh. Are you able to modify the css on the site, if so add display:none; to the #xg_sitedesc or .xj_site_desc
