I will have a look at it. taa Hussain

Kirill, Virtually all City of London Corporation meetings are open to residents, I would highly recommended that you consider attending some of them. However the City of London Corporation is very anti-wheelchair users, if you ask the clerk if suitable arrangements can be made for a wheelchair user to attend, the answer is “sorry no”.

How long will it take for our elected representatives to ensure that suitable transport, including collection and return to and from home for disabled persons?!! There are many residents with limited mobility who will be unable to attend the Wardmote on 22.03.2017, they want to attend, but are unable to, as the present elected Councillors have continuously failed to make any suitable transport arrangements for ALL residents, total disgrace! They are not even providing a live Skype link to allow these residents to engage.

Then click on Meetings, a list of current meetings is shown, select the committee meeting that you may wish to attend. Then click the date, and either email or call the clerk to advice that you “may” attend.

Note: There is NO Golden Lane Residents committee, whereas the Barbican is fully accommodated – maybe it’s because the present elected Councillors of Cripplegate prefer not to engage with Golden Lane…

As many residents as possible should consider attending the next planning meeting concerning the Richard Cloudesley School site.

Right,I will get on that. Cheers

Kirill, consider standing as a candidate for the forthcoming Aldermanic Election for Aldersgate Ward, its in May 2017.

Good luck

Hi Kirill,

Will you be standing?

Nicholas Anstee has surrendered the office of Alderman for the Ward of Aldersgate. He is seeking re-election for another term and an election will take place.

The Wardmote is scheduled to take place at noon on Tuesday 2 May 2017 at Ironmongers Hall, Shaftesbury Place, Barbican, London, EC2Y 8AA. If the election is contested then a poll will take place on Wednesday 3 May 2017, also at Ironmongers Hall, Shaftesbury Place, Barbican, London, EC2Y 8AA between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

The Notice of Election will be published on Monday 27 March 2017. Candidates then have until noon on Monday 3 April to submit their nomination papers. Please contact the Electoral Services office if you would like a candidate pack, including nomination papers, for this election.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the Electoral Services office.

 Kind regards
