Quilt never sleep

Following the inaugural exhibition by Hong Kong artist anothermountainman, EXHIBIT presents a body of new millinery work by local resident-artist, Liz Davies, centre round hand made quilts which are derived from her paintings. Liz recently began working in textiles, creating quilts out of large swathes of coloured cotton. The quilts are padded and cosy to wrap up in. Holes provide access for the arms to allow reading and drinking etc. while lounging, or while being worn as a kimono to wander around in. It is a soft quilt to curl up in, an art piece to hang over furniture or when folded a beautiful cushion. The quilts are handmade and 100% cotton, washable and individually designed.
