Recent work on Goswell road

Does anybody know what has been done on Goswell road with the cross rail works that went on last week I'm wondering if they have put more manhole covers down as there seems to be a lot more noise than normal when the lorries and buses go crashing past my flat.

I wouldn't worry about it, probably a dose of concrete cancer, give it time and it will settle down, if the noise persists and gets suddenly louder, don't pack a bag, put your shoes on and run.

I was sitting at Costa Coffee at the junction of old street and could feel the ground rumbling, there weren't any heavy vehicles around, probably cross rail, residents in Barbican estate were complaining about the vibrations.
