We have just had another bike stolen from the bike store at the bottom of Stanley Cohen House. It happened between Saturday evening and Monday morning and it looks as if another bike was also stolen. This is not the first incident - we had a bike seat stolen and a wheel damaged and another bike was stolen from the same store about a year ago.

As required by the estate we have been parking our bikes in the store - recently the store at the bottom of Stanley Cohen became full so that we could no longer park one of our bikes, although there are two or three bikes which don't seem to have been used for the past two years.

Has anyone else on the estate had a bike stolen/damaged recently?
We wrote to the estate asking about improved bike parking/ better security last November. Has anyone else had the same experience or heard anything about new bike parking facilities?

Yes! My bike was stolen within the last week from the same store while I was abroad, and I think another bike is also missing from that same store. I suppose it would be difficult to add a lock to the door leading to the stairwell as it is probably a fire exit. There may be other unused spaces on the estate that could be converted into bike stores though.
