You are invited to the launch of the City's first Low Emission Neighbourhood on 11 January from 6 pm at the City of London Girl's School

Golden Lane and Barbican estates and Smithfield and St Barts area are part of the City's first Low Emission Neighbourhood. With funding of £1 million from the Mayor's Clean Air Fund, match funded by the City there should be some action to improve air quality in our neighbourhood.

If you would like to find out more, come to the launch event on 11 January and hear: 

  • Shirley Rodrigues, the GLA Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy 
  • Client Earth, clean air campaign group, on their recent case against the UK government in pursuit of cleaner air and their thoughts on what ‘Brexit’ may mean for domestic air quality law.

You can also sign up for the Clean and green for seventeen Air Quality Challenge and there are free indoor air quality plants to give away.
