JOIN in Last session tomorrow. No previous experience required.

When is the session?
11am - 12pm Sunday 11th April via Zoom

What is Qi Gong?
Based on ancient Chinese exercise, it’s encompasses gentle movement based techniques. Once told "it's the gentle exercise you never knew you needed"

Who can join?
Open to any resident who is looking after someone, City unpaid Carers, friends, family, and City residents of all ages.

How do I join?
Booking is required to access the Zoom link. Email: CityCarersCommunity@gmail.com

What will I need in the session?
You can be standing or seated, in comfortable clothing.
Need a Laptop/Tablet or Mobile to access the zoom link.

Who is teaching the Qi Gong?
In 2006 Lai was introduced to Qigong and meditation.
She has participated in several national competitions, winning medals in different hand forms.
She has been teaching Tai Chi and Qigong for over 10 years in institutions, for the community, and in corporate settings. She says “My teaching experience has enriched my understanding of the Art, and at the same time gives me great pleasure in knowing this will improve the health and wellbeing of the participants.”

I don’t have access to Zoom:
- Contact the barbican library. Who have been remotely teaching residents how to use Zoom, if you have access to a computer/tablet/mobile.

What is the City Carer Community?
 We provide social support and activities through a series of Zoom sessions run by City of London unpaid carers for carers. Exercise and art activities are free. Funded by the Imagine fund from the Culture Mile. Sign up to hear of more events.
