2 laptops

I have 2 really really old pc laptops cant find cables, can anyone suggest what I could do with them. Oxfam do not take electronic goods.

Smash them with a hammer, paint them bright colours, hang them from the ceiling and bingo you have an art installation.
or ask them down a PC world if they have a recycling scheme.
