A few days ago, looking out of my kitchen window, I saw a group of people, some with cameras, filming. I asked them who they were. They said they were from Adidas, and were filming a model, for an advert. I called the Estate Office who said permission had been granted from them for filming on the Estate. I asked why no residents had been informed of this and was told 'there was no time'! I was also told the City receive payment for this.
What I find unbelievable is that, apart from us residents being disregarded over filming taking place outside our properties, which is an invasion of our privacy, the City are making money out of our 'gardens' being used as a background, yet, as everyone knows, they are trying to drastically reduce them. The hypocrisy leaves me almost speechless.
Only a few days prior to this filming there was more filming taking place outside my property, and this has happened before. On no occasion were any resident on this landing ever informed of this. We also have several groups coming up, including vast numbers, to view our landing, and again, we are never informed. One wonders how they know about us?
There are several residents on our landing who are furious over the way we have been treated.
