I was wondering if anyone knew why there was so much broken glass littered all over the pond area, in front of Bayer House, and by the Community Centre, and where it came from.  I could not believe how much was there.  Its been there since at least last Thursday, and is clearly hazardous.  The Estate Office have just left it there.

Hi Maria. It wasn't broken glass, it was ice that was on the pond. I think someone decided to clear some off the pond for the sake of the fish.

Oh wow!  I touched some of it and it felt and looked just like glass.  Thanks Richard.  It just goes to show you how ice can be so deceiving.  And, hazardous too.
